How I Work

My work is rooted in evidence-based therapies that meet people where they are and challenge them to move toward what matters. I’ve received specialized training in:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP)

  • Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)

  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

These approaches offer more than symptom relief—they’re about building lives that feel honest, courageous, and connected.

ACT helps people make space for difficult thoughts and feelings, rather than fighting them. It’s about taking meaningful action guided by your values, even when fear or doubt show up.

ERP is a cornerstone in treating OCD and phobias. It’s a structured, yet deeply human approach: facing fears directly, learning to stay with discomfort, and discovering that you’re far more capable than anxiety would have you believe.

FAP focuses on what happens between us, in real time. The therapeutic relationship becomes a mirror—revealing the patterns you carry into the world and offering a chance to practice something different, right there in the room.

EFT draws on attachment science to help couples and individuals move toward secure emotional bonds. It's about creating safety, expressing needs, and transforming disconnection into intimacy and resilience.

In our work together, I may invite you to slow down and notice—what your body is doing, what emotions are rising, what stories you’re telling yourself. Because how we feel and how we move through the world are deeply connected. And paying close attention can lead to powerful change.

I work with adults, couples, and adolescents across a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Relationship and intimacy struggles

  • Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and specific phobias

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Grief, loss, and illness

Whatever brings you to therapy, we won’t gloss over it. We’ll face it directly, with honesty, compassion, and a willingness to look deeper.
